Educational Programs

Residency/Fellowship

We offer a two-year fellowship to achieve American Board of Medical Genetics certification. It requires an M.D. degree and a completed three-year residency in a primary care discipline (pediatrics, internal medicine, OB/GYN, family practice).

We also offer a five-year combined Pediatrics/Medical Genetics residency. It is American Board of Pediatrics and American Board of Medical Genetics approved, and results in dual board eligibility.

For more information, visit www.connecticutchildrens.org/fellowship, or contact Robert M. Greenstein, M.D., greenstein@nso1.uchc.edu, or Robin Schwartz, M.S., C.G.C., Associate Director, rschwartz@up.uchc.edu.

Electives/Rotations

Available for M.S. III and IV residents in primary care disciplines, fellows in established specialty residencies (such as neonatology, maternal-fetal medicine or endocrinology), and graduate students in postdoctoral programs.

For more information, contact Katie Meyer, M.S., at kameyer@exchange.uchc.edu.
